In Memory

Our AWARE web site is dedicated with great love to our founding mothers, Vera Madden and Barbara Grove.

Vera Madden (1927 - 1999) and Barbara Grove (1921 - 2011) were spirited, committed, compassionate women who were full of intelligent energy.  They both were at the initial organizing meeting for AWARE in 1985 and they were both an integral and beloved part of our AWARE family thereafter.  They were much loved and they are greatly missed.
